About Me

I’m Warren Urbina, a Software Engineer with 8 years of experience building and improving backend systems. I’ve created scheduling tools that made life easier for students, integrated new products into existing platforms to expand what teams could offer, and built secure payment systems that handled heavy traffic without breaking a sweat. I’ve also worked on scaling services with modern frameworks and cloud tools so they could grow right alongside the business.

What I bring to every role is a mix of technical depth and collaboration. I care about writing clean, reliable code, but I also care about making sure the people I work with can move faster and enjoy the process. For me, the best projects aren’t just the ones that run smoothly in production, but the ones that help the team and the users in ways that last.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing bass guitar, hiking in Oregon, competing in pickleball, hanging out with my dog, and keeping up with reality TV favorites like Survivor and Big Brother. I also play Magic: The Gathering, which keeps my strategic thinking sharp in and out of the workplace.
